"Fortnite" joins other games that let you have fun as Halloween arrives this month of October. The famous battle royal game has two missions you need to complete. The first one is to find Fortnitemares Candy, and the second task is to become a spooky shadow.

Players had started their own trick-or-treating in "Fortnite" before the Fortnitemares event was launched. However, since it already dropped on Thursday, Oct. 22, players can now do some real Halloween tasks right now.
The special event requires to eat or find the candies that are all over the map. Since "Fortnite" has a pretty big area, finding those treats can be hard. To help you out, here a quick guide on how to find it and what to do once you have the special candy.
Fortnitemares Candy
Unlike the previous birthday cakes during the game's third birthday, the candies don't have specific locations to start with. According to Game Spot's latest report, you can find them in little trick-or-treating bowls outside buildings located in Salty Springs, Retail Row, Holly Hedges, Lazy Lake, and others.

Once you found the Halloween-themed bowls, all you need to do is smash them with your ax or any weapon to break them open. You need to eat the 25 candies to complete the mission.
Once you complete the task, you'll get the new Midas Shadow weapon skin.
Becoming a spooky shadow
Fortnitemares' other mission requires you to transform into a spooky shadow. Compared to the candy challenge, this one is easier since all you have to do is to die at the hands of another Shadow, an enemy, or by your own doing.
Euro Gamer explained that once your life bar runs out, you'll automatically become a Shadow. However, the best way to do this is by jumping from a mountain or a very high building. It is still important to remember that although you're killed by another and become one of them, it doesn't count towards the completion of the "Become a Shadow" challenge.
