The first Community Day for this month features Electabuzz.

Although Community Days only happen once a month, Niantic Labs has decided to surprise the fans with two events this November, according to GameSpot, with the first one happening this Sunday, November 15, starting at 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time.

With that, here's everything "Pokemon GO" fans need to know.

Featured Pokemon

For the first Community Day this month, the featured Pokemon will be the Electric-type Pokemon Electabuzz, which will appear more frequently in the wild, especially when players use the special Incense (all Incense in your bag will turn into a special one during the event), with more chances of getting a Shiny Electabuzz.

Trainers should also incubate their 2 km eggs for a chance to hatch Electabuzz's baby form, Elekid.

As with previous Community Days, "Pokemon GO" trainers that can evolve Electabuzz into its final form, Electivire, during the event or up to two hours after it ended, the Pokemon will have the Fire-type Charged attack Flamethrower.

This is the only time Electivire can learn the move, so remember to evolve your best-caught Electabuzz during the event.

Special Timed Research

Trainers can also get a bunch of rewards from the Special Timed Research, which will only be available for the event's whole duration, so if you want to get some great rewards, check your Special Field Research for the tasks.

The tasks and rewards have not been announced yet, but if we've learned anything from the past Community Days special tasks, they will be easy to do and will revolve around the event, so there's really nothing to worry about.

Bonuses

Besides the rewards from the tasks and the frequent spawning of Electabuzz, Niantic has also added a few bonuses that will take effect from the event's beginning till the end.

The bonuses include:

  • All eggs in the incubator will hatch a quarter of the distance of the initially required distance.

  • The incense will remain active for three hours.

  • Take snapshots during the event for a surprise photobomb.

Furthermore, a special Community Day Box will be available to purchase for 1,280 PokeCoins and will include the following:

  • 3 Incense

  • 30 Ultra Balls

  • 1 Elite Fast TM

  • 3 Super Incubators

As for the second November Community Day, the featured Pokemon will be Magmar that can be evolved into a Magmortar that knows the Electric-type Charged attack Thunderbolt, according to the "Pokemon GO" blog.

It will be happening on Saturday, November 21, starting from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time.

For "Pokemon GO' trainers who want to join, the Community Day tickets for this month can be purchased for $1 each or the equivalent amount in your local currency.
