"Pokemon GO" Beyond Update kicks in with the arrival of Generation VI Kalos Region Pokemon that would now be part of the event, allowing trainers to find and catch them easily for almost a week, until Tuesday, December 8. Increased encounters for Kalos Region creatures are now available for trainers to immediately gather candies and power-up the new Pokemon.

The popular augmented reality (AR) game from Niantic Labs, "Pokemon GO," is holding an event for trainers to fully maximize and take advantage of, especially with the arrival of new faces on the platform. Kalos Region Pokemon is now making its way to the platform but would only feature the first wave of 16 creatures in the present.

The Japanese manga's long-running franchise of "Pocket Monsters" or "Pokemon" have expanded its roster and creatures throughout the years, now having eight generations in total. Niantic Labs and Nintendo's AR Game released in July 2016 currently holds almost six generations with its latest addition of the Kalos Region this December 2020.

Here's everything you need to know about "Pokemon GO" for the month of December.

The GO Beyond Update have rolled-out to users last November 30 and promised 16 of the 72 Pokemon from the Kalos Region to arrive at the game. After the initial release, future updates would bring the remaining roster of Pokemon to the platform, along with the Legendary ones from Gen. VI.

According to Slash Gear, a Kalos Region event is now starting, that begun on December 2, until Tuesday, December 8, to allow trainers to catch, empower, and evolve Gen. VI's 16 new Pokemon that are now available. These creatures are under "Increased Encounters" and would most likely appear more than other Pokemon on the platform until next week.

'Pokemon GO' Kalos Region Event: Who are the 16 Pokemon for Increased Encounter?

The increased encounters would be the first 16 on Pokemon Kalos Region's Pokedex, along with the three starters and their two evolution forms, making it a total of nine (9) new creatures to join the event. The two subsequent evolutions from the three Kalos starters, Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie, would most likely be the only ones appearing and would have its evolved form on the rare chances to show up in the wild.

The nine starters are the first encounters on the Kalos Region Pokemon, particularly the Flying-type birds that are patterned to be the initial finds on every Pokemon game. The most common appearance would be the Flying and Fire-type bird, Fletchling, which stands in for Generation I's Pidgey.

Despite the end of the Kalos Region event, these 16 Pokemon would still be available for a chance encounter on the platform. However, they would be part of the normal appearances, the same as the earlier releases and generations of the popular Japanese manga.
