Disney+ announced that it would raise its monthly subscription rates to come March 2021 by a minimal amount, making monthly fees rise to $8, a year after its US launch and introductory price that does not differ much from it. The company initially revoked its one week free trials for interested users of the platform, but good news says there are already dates for "The Mandalorian" Season 3.

The Walt Disney Company's Media and Entertainment subscription service, Disney+, moves towards new ventures in the coming 2021 with its recent announcement of a price hike for users in their monthly fees. However, the price increase is not as dramatic as one would think of, as it would only be a minimal increase.

According to The Walt Disney Company's Investor Day 2020 report, Disney+ recently announced a $1 price increase from its previous $7 monthly fees would chance by March 2021, billing people with $8 soon. The said price increase would improve the streaming service's products and show offers in the coming year.

The new streaming service prices are also The Walt Disney Company's anticipation of the soon-releasing international streaming brand called "Star," and "Star+," which would replicate Disney+ Hotstar in India and Indonesia. The global partner of the esteemed Disney+ subscription service is the company's way to empower and internationalize its brands.

On the other hand, Disney's other streaming subscription service, Hulu, has no announcements regarding a price increase for 2021. Hulu is famous for providing a live TV experience with ESPN+, popular Hulu Originals, and TV Series tie-up. The company is targetting a massive 300 to 350 million subscriber count by 2024.
