One of the most memorable moments from the original "Final Fantasy VII" was the scene at Don Corneo's mansion where Cloud wears a dress to rescue Tifa.

Fans are now excited to see how the remake would tackle the scene, and so far, Square Enix did not disappoint. The anticipated scene did return and it was shown in a way to give players a level of control over what each character in the game is wearing.

Cloud, Tifa and Aerith all have different types of dresses which will depend by your choices and actions, and this will all lead up to Chapter 9.

Tifa

The dress of Tifa is determined by a conversation that you will have with her at the end of Chapter 3. This will happen if you complete all 6 of the chapter's side quests. In the Alone at Last scene, Tifa will ask Cloud which style of dress would best suit her, your answer will influence her choice.

There are three options: something mature where she will wear a blue cocktail dress, something sporty where she will wear a silver and black cheongsam and something exotic where she will wear a black kimono.

Aerith

Aerith's dresses will also depend on the side quests. It will be the ones you found throughout Chapter 8 an the number that you complete that matters instead of the choice in a conversation.

There are three side quests: 0-2 will give Aerith a cheap pink sleeved dress, the 3.5 will give Aerith a pink halter dress with floral embroidery and 6 side quests will give her a crimson ball gown with a massive bow on the back.

Cloud

Cloud's dress is determined on which side quests you will complete. Chapter 9 features two different questlines, so which one is completed will affect Cloud's outfit.

In 0-1 side quests, if you complete the Burning Thighs only, Cloud will wear a basic black dress. If you complete Burning Things plus Chocobo Sam's side quests, then Cloud will wear a blue and black ball gown with a black floral hairpiece. If you complete Burning Thighs and Madam M's side quests then Cloud would wear a violet ball gown and a tiara.

Strategy

You will unlock the Snappy Dresser trophy on your first playthrough regardless of which choices you make. But if you wish to unlock the Dressed to the Nines trophy, then you need to have to complete three of the chapters multiple times.

If you are already planning on doing a hard mode playthrough, this means replaying each of the relevant chapters again.

Playthrough 1 is easy, complete all of the side quests in Chapter 3 and choose sporty or exotic. Complete all of the side quests in Chapter 8 and either Madam M or Chocobo Sam's questlines in Chapter 9.

Playthrough 2 is hard, complete all of the side quests in Chapter 3 and choose sporty or exotic. Then complete Weapons on a Rampage, Kids on Patrol, The Angel of the Slums, and Paying Respects in Chapter 8 to get the manuscripts and the pink halter dress for Aerith. Then complete the questline that you did not pick in your first playthrough in Chapter 9.

The cleanup is the difficult round. Go through chapters 3, 8 and 9 without completing any side quests to pick up the three remaining dresses and you can unlock the Dressed to the Nines trophy.
