Samsung has released on of the toughest Galaxy Tab on its lineup that has a "military-grade" rating for its toughness and rugged design, featuring a waterproof body and drop protection that is available to the public. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 was initially unveiled last September 2020, but only sees a release date four months after.
The South Korean consumer electronics company, Samsung, was known to release several variants among its lineup to be rugged and featuring military-grade ratings, that can be used to different industries and even home. The tablet is practical for manufacturing industries, retail, home (where kids mostly throw gadgets), and the military itself.
The features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is for its touchscreen to work despite wearing gloves, and cater to the different needs of a tablet in an active workplace such as factories. Samsung initially released military-grade versions of their smartphones and tablets in the past years, becoming a hit as one of the toughest offers on gadgets until now.

According to The Verge, Samsung offers the 8-inch tablet to have an MIL-STD-810 military-grade standard rating, which is a rare specification and rating given to a gadget for commercial distribution. The rugged tablet has two programmable physical buttons for ease of use, along with a 5-megapixel front facing camera, and a 13-megapixel rear camera. It also features a 5,050mAh removable battery, which is a fairly large one for the tablet to last the entire day.
It also has 4G LTE capabilities for its cellular network variant, Android 11 ready, and a 64 GB or 128 GB choice with expandable memory via a microSD card slot. An S Pen would also be included with the tablet, but it would not be attachable to the body, rather its case that comes with the package.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is now available in Samsung's physical, retail, and online stores. The WiFi version of the tablet with 64GB starts at $489.99, while its WiFi + LTE version with 64GB starts at $589.99.
