Magicfish studio, an independent Chinese game producer has just announced that their adventure game “In Nightmare” is now to be published by Maximum games and is set for release on PS4 for 2021. According to GamePressure, the same publisher has launched the game “Zombieland: Double Tap- Road Trip”. Moreover, the game is expected to be available for physical and digital release and is priced at $19.99 which is roughly $20.
About ‘In Nightmare’ by Magicfish Studio
The game “in Nightmare” is a horror and adventure-themed game that takes place in a fictional, fairytale world. However, it also has some realistic and dark elements circling on the story of saving oneself from horrors. As Bloody Disgusting notes, the game is built on the precepts of knowledge and philosophy which producer Magicfish studio wants to impart to the players. The title “In Nightmare” itself has its original idea from Playstation China Hero Project. The storyline of the game revolves around a child waking up to a nightmare, which is crafted from his own memories growing from a broken family.
In Maximum Game’s official website, they tease the plot of the story like this:
“Experiencing effects of a broken family, and the heartache it brings, a young child will escape reality into a dark, whimsical world created from his own memories. This sets him on his journey to uncover what truly lies within. Having suffered in reality, his past trauma turns into terrifying monsters that want to keep him in an eternal nightmare. With the help of his dream spirit, the boy will find ways to sneak past enemies, overcome intricate puzzles, embrace his fear, and uncover the truth so that he may be able to purify the monsters he has created, and finally wake up.”

The player will be powered by his dream spirit and will eventually be able to overcome the mysteries of his nightmare and solve intricate puzzles. He will also be able to overcome his fear of abandonment and unfold the truth and realize that he has the power to defeat the monsters that he has created, which will wake him up once again.

The game will be available in single player for PlayStation 4 set for release this 2021. So far, there are no official dates yet for its exact release date in 2021, but it will be available in both physical and digital releases soon.
