Amazon Prime subscribers can have access to more movies and shows through the Prime Video app by signing up for one or more Prime Video Channels.

With Prime Video Channels, you can add more content to your existing Prime Video membership from many popular networks and services, including premium platforms like Showtime and HBO. Live TV channels are also included in some instances.

Prime Video Channels are monthly subscriptions that you can add onto your Amazon Prime or Prime Video membership, according to CNET.

This can be added but you will need to pay for an extra monthly fee, you will get access to numerous contents from premium third-party networks and other streaming entertainment channels without leaving the Prime Video account that you already have.

There are some subscriptions that also have a "Watch Live" feature available, which gives you the option to live-stream programming on supported devices at the same time that it is being broadcast on TV.

Major channels will cost you around $6 up to $15 a month on top of your already existing Amazon Prime membership. You can also test out as many channels you want through subscriptions with a one-week trial to see if you will use them before you commit to paying for it.
