"Genshin Impact" players are most likely having more fun in-game, thanks to the Theater Mechanicus tower defense mode, which is part of the ongoing Lantern Rite Festival, featuring the five-star character, Xiao.

Theater Mechanicus Mode Enemies

In a previous guide by Tech Times, we've explained what happens in the Theater Mechanicus mode as well as how to join (by creating Xiao Lantern and where to find materials).

Now, developer miHoYo has shared some insight on the enemies "Genshin Impact" players will face in the tower defense mode, which could help some gamers plan ahead and create a strategy to help them win and get more rewards.

As per Siliconera, players will be facing off against Hilichurl tribes and select monsters.

The full list of enemies and the best possible moves against them are listed below:

  • Hilichurls - Hilichurls typically arrive in clusters, so miHoYo suggested "Genshin Impact" players to use AoE damages, plus attacks that could launch them forward or backward as well as Anemo attacks for wind-based crowd control.
  • Samachurls and Hilichurl berserkers - These enemies are small but fast, so it's best to use Anemo Vision to blow them around as well as Thunderstrike and Tidal Flats Mechanici.
  • Mitachurls - They are sturdier because of their shields, but slower, so they would need a more focused approach such as using Physical DMG and Pyro against them to rid of the shields.
  • Slimes and Abyss Mages - These enemies are immune to their own elements, so use an opposing element against them. Be diverse with the towers you use.
  • Ruin Hunters - These are flying enemies that will eventually stop to allow players to attack them with the towers.
  • Ruin Guards and Ruin Graders - They are slow-moving but incredibly sturdy and resistant to Physical DMG.

The game's Lantern Rite Festival and Theater Mechanicus mode is now available in-game and will be playable until February 8, while the Xiao Market will close on March 7.

Freebies From February Promo Codes

Besides the Lantern Rite Festival, miHoYo has more surprises for "Genshin Impact" players.

Time and again, the developers would be giving away free items via active promo codes, so for those who are awaiting these freebies, miHoYo has created a few more codes for free Primogens, Mora, and more.

According to GamesRadar, the promo codes below are active since Sunday, February 14:

  • GENSHINGIFT: 3 Hero's Wit, 50 Primogens
  • GSIMPTQ125: 10,000 Mora, 60 Primogens
  • 153YUSAENH: 5 Adventurer's Experience, 30 Primogens

How to Use Promo Code

To use the promo codes, players need to log into their "Genshin Impact" account via miHoYo's official website for the game, then click on the Redeem Code tab that could be found on the upper right portion of the screen.

Then, choose the correct region, in-game character name, and code.

If active, the message "Promo Code Redeemed" will be displayed, and the free items will instantly appear in-game, so check out Paimon's Inbox for those.

As of now, "Genshin Impact" players are awaiting the arrival of Hu Tao, a highly anticipated playable character that should be coming soon with future updates.
