Are you a fan of "Pokemon GO"? The game's new version will surely excite you since it will provide a more realistic gaming experience. Niantic and Microsoft decided to work together to develop the latest "Pokemon GO" HoloLens, which will be playing in Microsoft's HoloLens 2 virtual headset. 

The two companies' new version of "Pokemon GO" is a proof-of-concept version, which could also be possible for other games in the future. Niantic already released a demo version of the game.

It revealed that players can spot a Pokemon in the wild and feed it berries ahead of a typical gym battle with another player. On the other hand, the new "Pokemon GO" version also has a menu that HoloLens users can click to access different sections of the popular adventure title. However, the game's developer said that the service is not a dedicated app yet since it is not ready for consumers.

"While this demo is not intended for consumer use, it offers an early glimpse into the future evolutions in both software and hardware," said John Hanke, Niantic's founder and CEO via The Verge.

The new 'Pokemon GO' HoloLens

Explica reported that the new game version will use a mix of reality and virtual features. This will further improve the title's graphics for its characters, such as Squirtle, Charmander, Butterfree, Leafeon, Eevee, Glaceon, and Bulbasaur.

Niantic even claimed that players can join other trainers in various battles.

"We're thrilled to collaborate with @microsoft & @hololens on new experiences that will weave together the digital and physical world," added that game developer.

'Pokemon GO' HoloLens release date

As of the moment, there is no specific date set for the upcoming version of "Pokemon GO" since it is still a concept from Niantic and Microsoft.

This means that it could take a long period before the two companies start developing it. On the other hand, you also need to buy the popular HoloLens headset, which is not that cheap since it costs almost $5,000.

Although it is not yet confirmed, Niantic and Microsoft showed that fans that could expect a better version of their beloved game.
