TikTok has a new trend on its platform, with users flipping to do the challenge and sharing their version of the "Bugs Bunny" challenge on social media for other users or fans to see. The challenge aims for the user to look like a bunny using their feet with socks, creating an illusion that rabbit ears are behind them and capturing it on video.

The popular Chinese social media and short video application, TikTok, has been the center of most trends and challenges since it became a widely-used application across the world, showcasing famous influencers. Moreover, what made TikTok the center of trends is that it uses hip and widely-popular songs used for its videos.

There have been various songs that were linked to challenges, and some of them include the "Renegade" challenge with K CAMP's "Renegade," "Death Bed by Powfu," and even hits from earlier decades or the 20th century. It is not surprising for TikTok to introduce a new trend, especially if influencers or massive names have also done the challenge.

'Bugs Bunny' Challenge: What is It and How to Do It?

The song came from Russian hip-hop artists Timati, and Egor Creed called "Gucci," but was then edited with a slow reverb by artists "Gerda and DARI," which has been the popular TikTok tune for the trend. Initially, the song follows a fast tempo, but the edit made it slower, in which it focused on the line where the rappers say "Bugs Bunny."

The origins of the trend were unknown, and TikTokers are unsure how the song surfaced on the application, giving the 2018 song a new voice and popularity as several content creators used it. The song has a part where the words "Bugs Bunny" were repeatedly uttered, and for some reason, this became a turning point for the trend.

How to do the TikTok Bugs Bunny Challenge

The TikTok Bugs Bunny Challenge has a few elements on its creation, but most importantly, it needs two accessories, and those are one's mobile smartphone for recording the clip and a sock to wear on one's feet. Apart from that requirement, there are no more needs for the Bugs Bunny Challenge and do it like the popular ones.

After wearing the socks, users would need to partially memorize the song's repetitive "Bugs Bunny" words, along with some Russian phrases that come after saying the name of the "Looney Tunes" character. Moreover, users would have to lie down, belly flat on either the ground or bed, stand on one's elbows, play the song, and position the socked feet right atop the head to resemble the bunny ears.

In the TikTok Challenge, whenever the word "Bugs Bunny" was uttered, the users would have to open their feet into a "V" shape to emphasize the bunny ears. From then on, users are free to choreograph their feet into a closed or V position as the song plays and they do the Bugs Bunny challenge.
