"Monster Hunter Rise" has debuted on several first looks for users, particularly with the game's demo version that was debuted by CAPCOM for the Nintendo Switch platform, showing the game's first boss, Magnamalo. That particular demo is an "advanced" quest in the game, meaning that people would see an early look at what the game is like in the Switch.

CAPCOM's "Monster Hunter" franchise is a popular action role-playing game (RPG) developed for several platforms and consoles, including the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox. The "Monster Hunter Rise" is the game's first appearance on the Nintendo Switch, the company's latest hybrid gaming console, releasing on Mar. 26.

The game is still on early first-look so that the performance may vary, but it already gives the first impression of how the Nintendo Switch game would be, featuring the adventures of killing monsters in an alternate dimension. The game comes after "Monster Hunter World," which has released several years ago and was a massive hit for the PlayStation 4.

First off, who is Magnamalo, and why is he a massive name in the "Monster Hunter" game? According to Heavy, Magnamalo is the game's biggest and worst villain, which is also the game's flagship villain that would play a great role for players on its full version. CAPCOM's first taste of the latest "Monster Hunter" sequel suggests that it would tackle more apart from Magnamalo.

Moreover, the company has already launched the first-look demo for Magnamalo, which provides early access for everyone, giving popular gaming influencers the chance to show how to defeat the villain. The demo features the hardest mode in "Monster Hunter Rise," and most likely, players would not stand a chance against the massive beast.

Players would need to be an experienced hunter to defeat the beast, which means that if the full version of the game releases, Magnamalo would be on the latter part of the game to be accessed and killed. Nevertheless, the game offers a multiplayer mode to defeat the monster, meaning that it needs more than one muscle to rough house this beast.

Strategies, Tips, and Tricks

According to Arekkz Gaming via YouTube, here are several tips and tricks to defeat the beast, particularly because it would only have 15 minutes to match against the monster. The YouTuber was accompanied by other hunters where they defeated the beast but at the expense of several comrades and fellow gamers on the demo live stream.

  • Rank up and gather experience, along with weapons and abilities to defeat Magnamalo
  • Use the Multiplayer Mode to gather other hunters to defeat Magnamalo, and the multiplayer mode can help in greatly dealing damage to the beast.
  • Players would only have 15 minutes to finish the quest and demo before it runs out and resets itself back to the beginning of the demo.
  • Collect Spiribirds, Adamant Seeds, Wirebug to boost stars, defense, and chances of winning
  • Users can predict the movement of Magnamalo as it attacks predictably; use this opportunity to dodge.
  • Attack Magnamalo's glowing parts of dealing more damage
