Apple Stores across the country have reopened earlier this month, after almost a full year since March 2020 since it closed down due to the COVID-19 pandemic and threats of the virus. The only open Apple Stores are known as "Express" locations where people come to pick-up online orders from the company and repair its devices.

CHARLESTON, SC - MAY 13: Employees at the Apple Store help customers on May 13, 2020 in Charleston, South Carolina. Customers had temperatures taken and were required to wear masks at the store, also reopening locations in Idaho, Alabama, and Alaska following forced pandemic closures.

What is more fascinating now is the return of the old "normal" where Apple Stores allow the test fitting and trials of the AirPods lineup including the AirPods Pro, and the latest headphones, AirPods Max. The company took a massive step in its operation comeback as AirPods are known to be a personal device that sticks closely to a person's body.

Initially, it was prohibited by Apple to try on the wireless earphones from its stores (retail and official ones) to avoid the contraction of COVID-19 among people who are visiting its locations. However, the "back to normal" state of Apple was recently observed as the company opened its doors to everyone, whether vaccinated or not.

Despite the company's seemingly back to normal operations on its return after a year, Apple still promotes the use of face masks and other personal protective equipment for both its staff and customers. Apple's commitment to stem the transmission of the virus almost led to a rumored Apple Mask for its employees, as it took stakes in creating PPEs for front liners.

According to Bloomberg on Thursday, March 17, Apple Stores that allow walk-in visits from its customers seem to have the "Normal" feels on its operations, particularly as it gives people the freedom to use any device on its store. Moreover, people are allowed back in, but several safety guidelines are still observed like social distancing and the use of face masks.

As noted by Mac Rumors, Apple has simultaneously reopened its retail stores, all 270 of it, in the country last March 1, and it was a historic one for the company after its longest hiatus to avoid virus transmission. The most valuable company has shown its commitment to protecting its staff and customers from the virus until a vaccine was publicly administered.

Apple Store: Is Proof of Vaccine Soon Required?

COVID-19 Vaccines have already rolled out since the last days of 2020, and now, public administration is already rolling out and reaching people across the country. The continuous flow of vaccine shots has now eased up the restrictions in the country, bringing a somewhat safeguard to protect people from severe viral infection.

Vaccine cards are given to the vaccinated, but it seems that they are not required to be seen on establishments, as well as the reopening ones like the Apple Store. Proof of vaccine is not that required in most places, but would soon come in handy, especially as the country tries to get back on its feet and enforce the new normal.
