"Borderlands 3's" Director's Cut DLC has released a new weekly challenge under the Fallen Heroes Vault Card and it requires defeating more than 300 enemies using a Corrosive Elemental Weapon. However, the catch is that the game requires players to do this in one full sweep, meaning that it would not count if a player falls short of a few minions.

Gearbox Software's game is one of the top action role-playing games (RPG) that features the first-person shooting genre, and its Director's Cut DLC is one of the most awaited ones in the title's history. The game has been in constant development since its introduction to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, bringing over four main DLCs until the arrival of the next-generation consoles.

Corrosive Elemental Weapons are one of the most damaging weapons in "Borderlands 3" that offers unique damage over time and area of effect threats against enemies and threats in the game. While these weapons are robust, they are extremely rare and most of the good ones need to be bought. Plus it needs a specific enemy to deal its maximum damage against.

According to EpicNNg via YouTube, there are two best places to "farm" for these enemies and it could be done with or without a DLC purchased from the game. "Borderlands 3" offers a lot of places on the map for this challenge, but there are two outstanding locations where Corrosive Elemental weapons are most effective and guarantee a win for the first weekly challenge.

Farming Location with Handsome Jackpot DLC

The first location would be on the Mad Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot DLC, where players can venture an extra map where the farming location is exclusive and only available here. Head directly to "Trashlantis" where players need to head west to start the challenge. Along the way, some spawns are weak against corrosive elementals, and it is best to start from there.

Continue towards a cave as heading west, and this location can be found in the top left corner of the game's map. This is a "Scraptrap" herd, where the boss called "Scraptrap Prime" awaits. The small minion Scraptraps are easily bested by the Corrosive Elemental Weapon, and the boss would be weak against the damages.

Farming Location for 300 Kills without DLC

For base game players, it is ideal to head to Promethea's CIstern of Slaughter or Pandora's Slaughter Shaft to do the challenge of killing 300 enemies to win the weekly challenge. This location guarantees the number of enemies which are subject to death upon contact with the corrosive effects.

It is important to avoid the Slaughterstar 3000 because it is full of enemies that are almost immune to corrosive damage.
