Technology company Apple has announced that Battersea Power Station, a Grade II listed building and former coal-fired power station, is to be its new London headquarters by 2021. The building, which has been unoccupied for decades, is currently undergoing a £9 billion restoration.

One of the reporters of Bloomberg, Mark Gurman, said that the new wireless charger could power up multiple devices at once, such as iPhone, AirPods, Apple Watch, and other gadgets.

However, the giant iPhone maker hasn't released the actual release date of its new wireless charger technology. To give you more ideas, here are other details of the upcoming Apple device.

Apple's New Wireless Charger

According to Mac Rumors' latest report, the new wireless charger could work just like Apple's AirPower, which was released back in September 2017. The company announced AirPower together with the iPhone 8, iPhone 9 Plus, and iPhone X.

On the other hand, the giant iPhone maker also added that AirPower's shipment date was supposed to begin in 2018. However, Tim Cook wasn't able to make this happen.

Because of this, Apple's AirPower did not become a reality. Meanwhile, some rumors claimed that this Apple device faced various production issues, which forced the company to cancel AirPower.

But, Apple engineers still shed some light after they confirmed that they could not solve multiple bugs affecting the AirPower device. Since this is the case, some critics and other Apple analysts claimed that the new wireless charger could still be the canceled AirPower, but it will be a more advanced and more efficient version.

Other Innovations of Apple

Aside from the alleged wireless charger, Apple also confirmed that it updates its AirTag's security features to prevent people from spying on other users.

Right now, AirTags is allegedly used to track people without their knowledge. XDA Developers reported that Apple Apple implemented a feature that would alert users if an unknown AirTag followed them longer than usual.

On the other hand, Apple is also believed to be releasing a new Android app before 2021 ends. This new application is expected to increase AirTags' privacy and security capabilities.
