No list of dog apps will ever be complete without Puppr - Dog Training & Tricks.

Simply called Puppr, this dog app is your best friend when you want to teach your furry friend a couple of skills and tricks. 

According to an article by Fueled, Puppr has more than 70 lessons that come with tutorial videos, photos, and clear instructions on how you can train your dog. The app also lets you chat with a trainer in real time if you find yourself struggling with a particular lesson. 

What's more is that Puppr also has an in-app shop where you can buy equipment, crates, and the all-important treats for your dog. You can also expect regular updates that often come with new features that will surely improve your experience with the app. 

Puppr is available for both iOS and Android.

Dog Apps for Pet Owners: Rover

As much as you'd like to bring your dog anywhere and everywhere you go, there are times that you simply cannot.

What the Rover app does, according to MyPet.com, is that it connects you to "dog walkers, pet boarders, house sitters and others who love pets in more than 10,000 cities."

Per the Rover website, the app lets you "read reviews, browse photos, and message the perfect sitter for you, your dog, and your budget."

You can also pay for your sitter's services directly on the app. 

Rover is available for both iOS and Android. 

Dog Apps for Pet Owners: Tractive GPS for Dogs and Cats

If you would like to know where your furry friend is at all times, you may want to download Tractive.

According to the article published on the Rover website, the app actually accompanies a tracker that can be attached to the collar of your dog. 

The app lets you track your dog's movements with the help of the GPS. It also features a heat map and lets you take note of safe zones for your dog.

Should your best friend leave the areas you have designated on the app, Tractive will automatically inform you as well. 

Tractive is available for both iOS and Android. 

Dog Apps for Pet Owners: Other Dog Apps Featured on Tech Times
