Research published on Nature's platform entitled "Outracing champion Gran Turismo drivers with deep reinforcement learning" details that Sony's new AI called "Sophy" dominates the game. Former record-holders and popular names in the game are now trashed and beaten by Sophy, and this is just the beginning for the software.
Write-ups regarding Sophy praise the AI for its skills and controls in the game, and it said that the thinking program could outrace humans in almost every way possible. It only means that the AI development with Sophy brings a massive achievement for its creators and only shows that technology has a lot of factors to which it can improve and evolve.
