new lawsuit spotted by 9 to 5 Mac online shows the case against Apple and its iPad Mini 2021 release, or the so-called 'Generation 6' because of its "Jelly Scrolling" issues. Allegedly, the case brought by Christopher Bryan talks about the iPad Mini's problems that focus on one side loading slower than the other and causing the text or images to be distorted.

It only shows that the iPad Mini 6 tablet allegedly suffers from its predecessor's issues with jelly scrolling but was not proven in court, unlike this device.

Apple initially claimed that the iPad Mini 6's Jelly Scrolling is normal to the tablet and is because of its screen refreshing. However, the user begged to differ on this lawsuit.

The amount of damages for the lawsuit remains unknown as of this writing.

According to a teardown video by iFixit, the controller board of the iPad Mini 6 is at a vertical position instead of a horizontal one that the iPad Mini 4 previously displayed. The positioning of the board may be the reason why it experiences the jelly scrolling issues, and it may also not be the cause.

Nevertheless, it is worth looking into for Apple, especially for future releases.

Apple's Jelly Scrolling Issue Isolated to iPad Mini?

Apple's iPad Mini is the device in the company that got the most reports for experiencing "Jelly Scrolling" on its touch screen, despite having an advanced and upgraded one from the company. Users wanted the iPad Mini for so long now, and every release got people speculating for the tablet. However, some of the 2021 releases became a dismay as demo units demonstrated the issue.

The fact that users reported the iPad Mini Gen 6 to have jelly scrolling is a massive dispute against the recently released device, as it was once a problem faced by the Mini tablet once. Apple repeatedly said that there are no problems with the iPad Mini's screen and touch capabilities; refreshing its screen is necessary and normal for it.

That is not the issue now as Apple faces a lawsuit against its name and device that it initially claimed to have no problems or hardware defects. The suit has yet to prove a thing and determine its price for the damages, but it is a clear indication that many users were affected by this alleged jelly scrolling issue that came with the iPad Mini 6.
