Musk claims that he is the record holder for being the top individual in taxpayer history to pay the most considerable tax to the IRS. The tax that Musk holds are those accumulated from his revenue and earnings in the different technology and innovations companies that include Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, Starlink, The Boring Co., and more.

In the tweet, Musk joked about saying hi to the IRS officials when he visited their office in Washington, D.C., showing that he has nothing to hide from the tax officials. Musk is firm in what he said about paying his taxes and dues correctly, despite the many doubts against himself.

Warren: Musk Paid 'Zero' Taxes in His Career

In an interview that got reposted on Twitter, Senator Elizabeth Warren talks about how much Elon Musk paid for taxes in 2021 and that the CEO paid "zero" in total. The Senator believes that Musk did not settle his taxes last year and is firm in her words to attack the CEO and call him out to pay his dues to the IRS, as it is a requirement, especially for top billionaires.

The Senator also attacks Jeff Bezos of Amazon.

Elon Musk and his Tax Issues

Elon Musk had a lot of disputes in his taxes as several government officials, and Senators claimed that he is not properly paying the taxes in his money made from several of his companies. One of his issues was with Massachusetts Senator Warren and her firm claims against Musk about his tax issues present in the current period.

However, it was not originally Senator Warren that claimed this against Musk and had a long stand-off about his taxes. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders also affirmed that the Tesla and SpaceX CEO is not paying his dues correctly and should adequately settle it with the proper authorities.

The exchanges between Musk and Sanders have been more than about taxes, but also looked into their work and personal lives.

The multi-tech CEO and the world's top billionaire claim that he has already settled his taxes with the IRS and is the top paying taxpayer in the agency's history. However, there are still doubts about this, with Senators going in public and on interviews, claiming that the taxes he owes remain unsettled and piling up.
