What You Need to Know About Twitter Blue

Twitter Blue allows you to have more freedom in how your account works. Twitter Blue was first launched in Australia and Canada in June 2021, and the paid version is now open for users in New Zealand and the United States.

The premium service also lets you read news ad-free, edit a published tweet, organize your bookmarks into folders, pin conversations in your DMs, upload videos up to 10 minutes long, and more, according to CNET.

Twitter Blue is a subscription service that offers users exclusive features of a monthly fee. On the platform, you will see people talk about which features you should have, and several of the most popular requests have made their way into the paid service.

The most popular feature is the Undo Tweet, which is not exactly the edit tool that some users have requested, but it does give you a way to quickly fix a published tweet.

The ad-free articles let you read stories from The Los Angeles Times, BuzzFeed, The Washington, Rolling Stone, and more without seeing any advertisements.

More than 45 websites are available, but there will be more coming. Also, a piece of your subscription fee goes to these news sites. The ad-free service only applies to these articles and not elsewhere on the platform.

The Reader for Threads feature allows you to read long threads wherein large tiles will showcase each tweet underneath. It will display only the tweet and any accompanying videos or photos. Distractions like avatar, date, username, and numbers won't be there; you can also customize text size.

Twitter Blue also has Bookmark folders. It lets you organize your messy bookmarks into folders to make them easier to find. Whenever you bookmark a tweet, you will be asked if you want to add it to a folder so you can organize them.
