"Red Dead Redemption Online" is not boding well with its fans and, specifically, fans are not happy with the latest update from Rockstar Games that focused on pants for its content.

Many fans argue that Rockstar is not putting much effort into bringing back "Red Dead Online's" former glory, and its current weekly updates for the title is not beneficial to it.

Rockstar Games' latest tweet talked about the new weekly update for "Red Dead Online," focusing on the latest content that comes for gamers regularly. However, instead of something that updated the gamers for the new content, it became a ground for them to throw shade against Rockstar as they are not pleased with the new feature.

There was a user that tweeted to Rockstar Games in reply to the update, saying in a sarcastic tone that Rockstar did a "great job" and it is enough to "revive the game."

Another user went as far as saying that Rockstar should have just told its fans that the franchise is dying and the developers are done supporting the game instead of their recent release.

Rockstar Games's 'Red Dead Online' Development

The latest release from Rockstar's "Red Dead Online" focuses on the Bounty Hunters Bonuses that impose a new challenge for the week.

The Bounty Hunting series is available for the entire month and not only the week. However, it should be noted certain elements here are only available for seven days until the developer's new content for next week.

'Red Dead Redemption 2' and RDO

Several years ago, when fans talk about "Red Dead Redemption's" gaming franchise, they talk about a massive title that has various offers for its fans and enthusiasts. The peak of "Red Dead Redemption 2" focused on giving many updates for its online version and it gave gamers the enthusiasm to play the title and create their story.

Despite the game being released in October 2018, the game has continued development via its weekly updates from Rockstar Games. However, no sequel is coming from Rockstar as of press time, and the company is known for its tight-knit production, as seen with "GTA VI."

Rockstar Games surely made this latest update something that got the fan's attention, despite it being a disappointing release for its current gamers that still play every day.

However, it might be something that gets Rockstar's attention for a better release in the future, or it might stay the same, as "Red Dead Redemption 2" and "Red Dead Online" are not under regular development anymore.
