Apple Wallet in Arizona is now supporting digital driver's licenses. Thanks to the app's enhancement, Arizona is now the first state in the U.S. to have this feature.

Right now, the latest Apple Wallet update is essential for Arizona's citizens since it will allow them to store their digital driver's licenses via the popular application.
Once the digital IDs are properly stored in the Apple Wallet app, they can now use them to pass through TSA checkpoints in the Sky Harbor International Airport.
But, you still need to remember that this Apple Wallet update doesn't apply to traffic stops.
Apple Wallet Now Supports Digital Driver's Licenses!
According to CNBC's latest report, the new update for the popular digital ID-storing app is a new effort of Apple for its long-term strategy to replace cash, loyalty, credit cards, as well as IDs with their digital versions.

The giant iPhone maker doesn't really generate that much revenue from its Apple Wallet. But, since the mobile app is quite useful, the tech manufacturer is still enhancing it.
Apple Wallet also attracts new consumers to switch from Android to iPhone. It is also one of the main reasons why other individuals are not leaving their iOS devices.
Requirements and Other Details
Jennifer Bailey, Apple's vice president of Apple Pay and Apple Wallet, said that they are excited to allow Arizona to use Apple Wallet to store digital driver's licenses.
"We're thrilled to bring the first driver's license and state ID in Wallet to Arizona today, and provide Arizonans with an easy, secure, and private way to present their ID when traveling," said Bailey via Apple's official press release.
If you are one of Arizona's residents, you are required to provide a selfie. After that, you also need to scan your plastic driver's license.
This will allow TSA checkpoints to check your digital driving ID without the need to take over your iPhone. TSA also said that they would not take photos of the travelers.
Aside from Arizona, Apple is also planning to roll out this new feature in other states, including Hawaii, Ohio, Puerto Rico, and Mississippi.
In other news, Apple's Learning Coach Program will soon arrive. Meanwhile, Apple's alleged partnership with Porsche is expected to happen.
