Google Discover has recently added another extra feature to its UI. This time, the users should see that sports scores and stock prices are also coming out in the same spot in the Google Search beta.
Google Rolls Out Sports Score, Stocks in Discover Layout
Google brings sports scores and stock prices on Discover feed following the arrival of weather information display last time.
According to a report by Android Police, it seems that Google Discover is not yet finished bringing extra updates to its user interface. For sports fans who want to stay updated on the news and even stock prices, here's for you.
At this moment, you can now see a sports box that contains the latest match scores for various games. You can visualize it as something that you can see in common news outlets, particularly those that cover sports stories.
It's easily accessible thanks to the "Tap for latest news" button. You can no longer be left behind for the important sports announcements that you want to check about a particular team or personality.
Once you click this button, you will be directed to a browser tab where you can search for the name of the sports team that you want to follow. It's just a matter of seconds before you discover something new about the Green Bay Packers, Naomi Osaka, Los Angeles Lakers, and other famous sports stars and squads.
If you're a sports fan who is not interested in technical terms but is focused just on the business side, Google Discover has another feature for you. You can now view the sports stock prices in the layout.
It should be noted that this is not the first time that Google rolled out a similar feature to it. In 2021, the search engine giant released a trial on the "scrollable banner" which displays information about stocks, sports, and more topics.
However, the company did not launch it for general use. In addition, the current feature that Google is experimenting with right now is quite different from it.

Google Discover Displays Weather Information
In another report from 9to5Google, Google Discover previously brought weather information on the Google Search beta. Upon accessing your feed, you will notice that your current location on the map is marked in a "card-shaped" option.
That's not the only thing that you can see here since there's also a weather description for the current condition. It will tell you stuff like "partly cloudy" for heads-up.
The updated temperature and the chance of precipitations are also included in the display. Still, this weather display is considered to be undergoing some progress so it would take some time before it becomes stable for usage.
In other news, Tech Times reported that Google released the latest update for Pixel devices regarding the fix for wireless charging problems on Android.
