The Apple Car has been the subject of several rumors since last year. Although we currently know that the Cupertino giant is into building this electric car, we haven't known any features that it might present.

According to the latest report, the rumored EV is expected to have VR technology. However, there's a catch -- it won't have any windows, according to the latest Apple patent.

The long-time rumored Apple Car is expected to have no windows upon its launch, the latest patent says.

As Tom's Guide spotted via VRScout, the tech titan's Apple Car will be adopting a feature centered on virtual reality. While the report says that the self-driving car will stick to its VR technology, it seems that it won't promote the use of windows.

This rumor has surprised many people, particularly those who have been following every Apple Car leak in the headlines. It's indeed strange to imagine that a next-gen vehicle will remove the usual parts that we see in today's cars.

It turns out that it's like a dystopian vehicle from the future. Although it appears to be futuristic if you can imagine, some people find it unsettling especially since there's no way you can see your outside surroundings with it.

Per the actual patent, the Cupertino EV would provide a much more engaging virtual reality experience to the users thanks to the VR headset. The said wearable is expected to be useful in producing video chats while traveling.

For passengers who want to take advantage of gaming or music streaming, they can also use this headset system for their leisure.

It should be noted that the patent suggests that the VR headset can be an effective tool in fighting the motion sickness brought by the windowless design.

It's interesting to know what Apple holds for this car. Despite launching a patent about this rumored electric vehicle, we still do not know if the iPhone maker will release it in the future.

Being a patent does not guarantee that it will be an official product in the future. It may only serve as a basis for other creations or inventions by the company.
