Google TV is here to allow users to personalize their streams and have specific lists or favorite shows to watch on the platform, as it now brings the long-promised "Profiles." Users and subscribers can now access the Profiles whenever logging in to Google TV or launching the app so that it will go directly to their list or continue what they are streaming.

Google's support document announced the TV's latest feature available on the platform now, and it is with the Profiles that users can access and personalize for their viewing pleasure. The new feature only drops now, more than half a year later from when it was initially announced by the massive internet company that said it would come to the platform.

Now, users can enjoy a feature that will help people segregate and categorize what they want to watch and avoid mixing it with Kids' Profiles and other niche categories. The Profiles will allow users to designate a name and image to a specific person, and it would avoid having to fight on one device and using its features.

Google TV Profiles: How to Access?

Google added a support document on how to Add Profiles on the Google TV app. It is something that users can set up immediately, as long as they are already logged in via the application. Subscribers only need to launch the Google TV application and add "Users" to the plus button seen on the Profiles page and designate who gets to have a face on the TV.

Google TV and its Features

Google TV is the dedicated streaming platform of the massive Mountain View company, and it focuses on cable-free television features that would bring subscribers many channels and content online. It recently launched a Kids feature that brought free channels for the little ones alongside Restricted Mode and add to Watchlist.

It is like Netflix, but instead of strictly on-demand shows and titles, it also features Live TV on the application and brings it via the internet connection streams only.

Most of what Google TV offers is bundled with Chromecast devices and the connecting features of Google's technology, but the company changed that in recent times. It now has a dedicated Android application that would let users stream directly on their mobile devices, and it was previously the Play Movies and TV app.

The evolution of Google TV unearths now, and it focuses on the many features available to the public that would help them get more of their streams for future needs. Profiles are a massive help in organizing Watchlists and continuing the streams they left behind, personalizing the Google TV platform for their needs and entertainment.
