Valve Steam Deck is a console that brings many features for all, and the company themselves is making the accessories available by selling them or providing 3D blueprints to print them for the users. The recent update from Valve is with the Steam Deck's docking station that will get a delay on its release and availability to the public for a short while.

According to an update by Valve, the Steam Deck's docking station will see a delay in its availability and release to the public, especially now that it encountered parts shortage and roadblocks. Additionally, the company said that there had been a manufacturing problem relating to COVID-19, which caused it to delay further.

However, Valve assured the public that it is still doing its best to deliver on the docking station to bring the accessory in no time. This docking station is also a way to charge the device, complete with its fast charging experience, giving users more time to play and not wait for the console to fill up its built-in batteries.

Docking Station Parts Shortage: To Affect Console?

The company said that it is seeing a hardship in manufacturing the docking station for the Steam Deck devices due to parts shortage, but they also said that it does not affect console production. It means that interested Steam Deck buyers will get the console at a regular release and see no delays in its availability.

Valve Steam Deck's Console

It is not a surprise that there are console releases from other manufacturers that are good and worth buying aside from the known names, including Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox. The Valve Steam Deck made that a possibility as the device is one of the top competitors of the previous consoles in the market today.

As a handheld console, one would think that it has an adequate performance in terms of gaming, but the Steam Deck went out of its way to provide everyone a chance to experience a massive power in it. The console's ray tracing capabilities, SSD performance, and ability to play huge titles got a good score from reviews and tests.

Moreover, it can connect to the Xbox Cloud Gaming feature, which expands more of its available library.

The console is a breath of fresh air for all gamers that need to sit at home and connect their devices to a power source and external display to enjoy the game. It also brings more games into the handheld device compared to the Switch, which only carries Nintendo games on its libraries.

A docking station is an accessory that helps in charging and display, and the good thing is that its delay will not affect those interested in buying the console.
