According to a press release by Redwire, the US Military has provided them a contract, together with MDA, to work on the Link 16 tactical communications antenna that they will use for their contact needs. It will be in the form of a satellite that beams the connection from the Earth's orbit, and it will help provide a global service for them.

Satellite communication is something that the military has used for a long time now, and it is to provide communications from far areas and regions that do not have cell towers and connect to its headquarters. The service would expand more of the communication tools that the military has, and it will help in security and its ventures.

The new antenna will help expand more of the communication access of the troops globally, also connecting more of the Defense's needs for its tactical situations.

Military Commissions for the Public

The military has massive hands on technology and many partner companies bring its products to use for the many needs of the government agency. However, there are some that get their hands on US military tech and according to reports, there are some that the Taliban got access to regarding their gadgets and devices.

The US Military also focuses on modern devices that they use for the current standards in war, and it is with the use of drones that do not require massive human operations. They are advising other nations to use drones for their warfare needs, focusing on wireless and remote-controlled devices to do their bidding in times of conflict.

There are several antennas and satellites that the US Military has, and it focuses on providing a communication tool that will help in connecting the military to communicate from far-flung areas. Redwire and MDA will provide the antenna for them, pattered under the Link 16 technology which is what the military is accustomed to.
