Musk Talks About Free Speech in Private Address

The tech CEO affirmed what he said at the town hall meeting by replying to the leaked video using his official Twitter account. Here, he shows that what he said there is what he wants the public to know. Musk did not mind that a part of his interview via the town hall meeting got leaked by an online entity despite the meeting being exclusive to Twitter employees.

Elon Musk and Twitter's Free Speech Coming

Free speech is the focus of the upcoming Twitter platform that would be better than before, especially as it is still a public company available in the market for investors and board members. The new direction will focus on upholding rules and regulations in the platform but would still focus on freedom of speech, and its censorship will only base itself on the law.

The social media platform's new age is coming, with Elon Musk taking the company private after almost a decade since its public outing and listing in the market. Making it personal would ensure that its owner has complete control of the platform, which Musk aims to turn into a freely-usable social media for all that focus on voicing out all sides on the internet.

Different people have multiple opinions on a specific subject, and Musk plans to allow it online to generate talks and discourses regarding it.

Now that Musk has addressed the Twitter employees via a town hall-like meeting, the CEO said in private that the company should be a free speech platform that will allow all sides to bring their takes on a subject. It would not lean on one side alone, or protect and condemn a particular aspect or community on Twitter, being the modern free speech platform for all.
