Xiaomi 12S Pro specifications leaked ahead of its official launch, confirming its fast refresh rate and bright display, and charging details.

The upcoming Xiaomi 12S Pro series has yet to debut in China formally. Still, the details of its specifications have already come out online, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the new Android smartphone.

Xiaomi 12S Pro Specs Leak

As per a news story by Gizmo China, the giant Chinese phone maker, Xiaomi, is about to introduce a new lineup of next-generation smartphones, its all-new Xiaomi 12S series, on July 4.

The whole lineup includes three mobile devices, such as the entry-level Xiaomi 12S, the mid-range 12S Pro, and the top-of-the-line 12S Ultra.

The China-based phone maker has confirmed that the all-new Xiaomi 12S Pro sports a massive 6.73-inch AMOLED LTPO screen, which lashes out up to 2K resolution.

It also flaunts a buttery smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and it should be bright enough even in an outdoor environment thanks to its 1,500 nits of brightness.

Xiaomi 12S Pro Fast and Wireless Charging

The Xiaomi 12S Pro also supports ultra-fast charging of up to 120 watts. The Chinese phone maker takes it to the next level by achieving a full battery charge in as fast as 19 minutes.

But apart from the impressive fast charging, it also supports 50W wireless charging and 10-watt reverse wireless charging.

Xiaomi 12S Pro Camera

The all-new Xiaomi flagship features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX707 main camera. It comes with a 50-megapixel telephoto snapper and a 50-megapixel ultrawide shooter, which flaunts up to 115 degrees field of view.

Meanwhile, the lens details of its selfie or front-facing camera have yet to see the light of day.

Xiaomi 12S Pro Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1

Gizmo China notes in its report that no less than the CEO and founder of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, has previously teased that the Xiaomi 12S Pro is likely to get a Dimensity edition.

However, the tech giant has only confirmed that its new flagship is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1.

According to a recent report by Tech Nave, Xiaomi flaunts that the new 12S Pro got an impressive benchmark score.

The phone maker announced that its upcoming flagship Android phone garnered 1.1 million benchmark points on Antutu, thanks to its Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.

Tech Nave notes that other Android smartphones also features the new Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip, such as the RedMagic Nubia Pro, but they are far from the 1.1 million Antutu score.
