Apple is allegedly threatening an employee with termination because of her viral video.

Paris Campbell claimed that the giant tech manufacturer informed her that they would terminate her since she was sharing some tips on what consumers should do when their iOS smartphones are stolen.

In most of her TikTok vids, she doesn't confirm that she works for Apple or her job role in the company.

Commonly, what she shares about herself is being a stand-up comedian, as well as her interest in making reaction videos. However, she posted another video on Aug. 12, asking Apple not to terminate her because of her content.

Apple Staff Receives Termination Warning Due to Viral TikTok Vids? 

According to MacRumors' latest report, Campbell is popular for her videos explaining what to do when an individual loses their iPhone.

With her helpful anti-iPhone theft tips, her TikTok account was able to garner more than 17 million likes. Her videos explain why it is important to remove a stolen iOS handset from users' Apple ID accounts.

On the other hand, she also provides quick guides on how to use the "Find My" application to track stolen iPhones. If you check all her content, the tips she provides are already available to the public.

This means that the majority of Apple consumers already know these details. However, she posted another video, claiming that Apple warned her that she might be terminated because of her previous viral videos.

"Apple is claiming that I've breached the company policy by identifying myself publicly as an Apple employee," said Paris.

She added that when she reviewed the iPhone maker's employee policy, there's no rule that staff can't disclose that they are working for the company.

Is It Really Illegal To Share iPhone Tips?

Apple's official business conduct document states that all employees should protect the company's product information since it is one of their greatest assets.

These include details about operations, and financial activities, as well as business information and trade secrets.

However, the document doesn't include any violation if staff will share anti-iPhone theft tips. As of press time, Campbell hasn't shared any update if Apple has already clarified her issue with the company.

In other news, Apple employees shared their concerns as the company requires an RTO setup.

On the other hand, some Apple stores in the US and Canada temporarily closed down in December 2021.
