The next series of iPhone 14s are slated for debut come Sept 7, according to Bloomberg. Apple is planning an entire iPhone 14 release date event, wherein several alternative Apple products will be showcased in tandem with the new iteration of the iPhone. Additional devices making appearances amid the iPhone 14 Apple Event will be various new Apple Watch designs, iPad models, and MacBooks.

Apple's event will be held entirely online, with Bloomberg reporting that several of the segments have already been filmed over the course of the past couple weeks. The tech firm last held an online event in June with the WWDC showcase, in which newfound software updates, product lines, and features were debuted to immense anticipation. Although the iPhone 14 Apple Event date isn't official, the company is known previously to debut its new line of iPhones in Sept. and several reports suggest that retail store staff have been notified of a new product slated for Sept. 16.

Despite limited parts and lagging sales for its competitors, Apple has surprisingly fared well in terms of overall iPhone sales as Q1 2022 shows a whopping $71 billion, with Q2 not far behind at $50.57 billion. The company more recently engaged suppliers with a rather hopeful 90 million iPhone 14 production target, meaning Apple isn't exactly sweating any downswell in sales for the next iPhone. The iPhone itself accounts for 52.5% of Apple's sales, making it a rather important product piece on the cusp of a new year.

The iPhone 14 will sport some interesting new features and upgrades over its predecessor, most prominent among them being a 6.7-inch screen over the so-called "mini" iteration under the iPhone 13 line. While the standard iPhone 14 won't exactly be all too impressive, the iPhone 14 Pro will be where most of the necessary enhancements are felt, as Apple modifies its product to allow for more screen real estate and more simplified accessibility features.

For starters, the iPhone 14 Pro will be retrofitted with a new and faster chipset over the iPhone 13 and base iPhone 14's A15 chip. The upgraded smartphone will also utilize a far more advanced camera, which will even show in its size. The 48-megapixel wide-angle and 12-megapixel ultrawide and telephoto sensors will all coalesce to deliver one of the most picturesque camera systems yet conceived by the tech giant in its iPhone product line.

Additional changes to the iPhone 14 Pro include increased battery life, video recording enhancements, and the replacement of the so-called "notch," or front-facing camera space, for a Face ID sensor and accompanying camera that will allow the phone a bit more screen real estate. Apple will no doubt be debuting the software that will primarily be running on iPhone devices, iOS 16, amid the event to showcase all-new security systems, accessibility features, and Apple product interconnectivity.

The new line of Apple Watch and its upgraded watchOS 9 software will also be of main importance amid the iPhone 14 Apple Event. Apple has a more affordable Apple Watch SE in store for consumers, a product that will leverage a much faster chip despite a lower price tag. Apple Watch Series 8 will be on main display as the firm boasts its newly integrated features that track women's health needs.
