On Wednesday, Aug. 31, Paramount launched a new bundle that combines Paramount+ and Showtime. Announced back in February, the new bundle is available to all US subscribers.

Paramount+ New Bundle

According to TechCrunch, the Paramount+ and Showtime bundle is only available for a limited time.

Subscribers can get the bundle for $7.99 monthly for the Essential plan with ads and $12.99 monthly for the Premium plan without ads.

The pricing for the bundle is available until Oct. 2, after which it will cost $11.99 a month for the Essential plan with ads and $14.99 a month for the Premium plan without ads.

Those who only want to get Showtime will cost $10.99 a month. As for a solo Paramount+ subscription, you can get it for $5 a month.

Contents You Can Get

People can watch Paramount+ content that includes "Halo," Star Trek: Discovery," and "Secret Headquarters." Subscribers can also watch upcoming originals such as "On the Come Up," "Tulsa King," "Criminal Minds," "1923," and "Wolf Pack."

Meanwhile, Showtime has popular shows that subscribers can enjoy, like "Yellowjackets," "Dexter: New Blood," "Billions," and "The Chi."

The Paramount+ Essential Plan includes on-demand entertainment content and sports, including NFL games on CBS and 2,000 soccer matches yearly. It also provides news via CBS News Network.

However, the Essential Plan does not include access to live streams from CBS local affiliates, which is available in the Premium plan, according to Variety.

Expanding to Other Countries

Paramount+ subscribers outside the US can access Showtime through international offerings. The platform recently launched in the UK and Ireland and has plans to expand into France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Africa, Switzerland, and the Middle East.

Paramount+ was also recently released in South Korea in partnership with TVING. It plans to launch in India soon after partnering up with Viacom 18.

Despite its efforts to expand and offer affordable rates, Showtime reportedly lost thousands of subscribers.

In May, the CEO of Paramount, Bob Bakish, admitted that Showtime dived in the first three months of 2022, as it lost more than 500,000 subscribers.

In early August, Paramount+ recorded 43.3 million global subscribers, while Showtime reported 63.7 million subscribers.

Walmart Teams Up With Paramount

Walmart+, which is Walmart's subscription service that allows for unlimited free deliveries from Walmart stores, is now offering free Paramount+ service to its subscribers.

Paramount+ Essential plan will be included in the Walmart+ membership.

According to WhatHiFi, the Paramount+ Essential plan subscription will be available for all Walmart+ members as a membership bonus. Other Walmart+ benefits include mobile scanning and member fuel prices.

Upcoming Paramount+ Releases

According to ComicBook, Paramount+ will have a full lineup of movies and TV shows for September. On the first day of the month, subscribers can check out "Zodiac," "Shanghai Noon," "True Grit," and "The Blair Witch Project."

As for TV shows, subscribers can check out the return of "Ghosts," "The Neighborhood," "FBI," "Survivor," and other reality TV shows like "Teen Moms" and "The Amazing Race."
