Tesla is getting ready to introduce a Supercharger Voting Poll Platform that will let users choose the sites of future Supercharger locations, as reported first by Teslarati.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that the manufacturer chooses the locations for its upcoming Supercharger stations based on where it believes there is the greatest need during the 2022 Shareholder Meeting, often known as the Cyber Roundup.

The procedure, however, was not universally praised by the audience, who believed that the owners believed that they should have greater influence over which areas get the next Supercharger sites.

Fortunately for them, the automaker heeded their requests.

A Poll for Supercharger Locations

It is worth noting that Musk once suggested the possibility of opening a poll for the Supercharger location. He said, "Maybe we should do an online poll for where should we put Superchargers? Yeah, let's do that."

Tesla owners are being urged to submit places on Twitter as the company gets ready to launch the Supercharger Poll platform. The final poll will include the places that have received the most upvotes.

Is the Poll Open?

Tesla has tried a number of innovative things to get its customers more active and informed about what's going on with the firm. The new Supercharger Poll platform will be one of them.

Tesla debuted the "Engage" platform in March 2021 after redesigning its forums. This would provide owners with a digital base of operations for all of their activities and make it simpler for members of the Tesla community to discover what's on their minds, "take meaningful action, and stay in the loop."

The company introduced the Shareholder Platform in late July, enabling investors to ask questions during earnings calls and receive notifications of SEC filings and other significant documents.

Currently, Tesla runs more than 35,000 Superchargers throughout the world. However, more Supercharger stalls are required because of the surge in the use of electric vehicles, with Tesla mostly leading the way.

The positioning of charging stalls will surely be improved by Tesla's new Supercharger Voting Poll platform in order to reduce congestion and boost overall availability.
