Apple Watch Series 8 price increased in the rest of the world, except for the market in the United States and in China, similar to the hike that the iPhone 14 saw.

It has been a day since the Cupertino-based tech giant debuted its all-new Apple Watch Series 8, alongside the budget-friendly Watch SE and the long-rumored rugged Apple Watch Ultra.

The Far Out event also introduced the all-new iPhone 14 series which rocks a new "Dynamic Island," and the second-generation AirPods Pro.

However, we are still learning bits and pieces of facts regarding these new offerings from the iPhone maker.

For instance, it appears that having the new Apple Watch Ultra repaired costs roughly $499, the website of Apple confirms. That makes it more costly than buying the new entry-level Apple Watch Series 8, which retails for $399.

And what's more, it looks like the next-generation Apple Watch is way more expensive than its predecessor in various markets across the globe. Well, it turns out that the price hike leaves out two giant countries, namely the US and China.

According to a recent report by The Verge, the renowned tech giant boasts that the pricing for its all-new offerings, such as the iPhone 14, the Apple Watch Series 8, and the AirPods Pro, still cost the same as their predecessors.

However, it appears that the tech giant only retained the pricing of its fresh new products in the US and China, while hiking them in the rest of the world.

The Verge notes in its report that the pricing for the new Apple Watch and iPhone increased in various countries, such as Japan, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

To be more precise, Apple Watch Series 8 in the UK now starts at a £419 price tag. Meanwhile, its older sibling, the Series 7, only sold for a starting price of £369.

However, in the US, the Series 8 sells for the same price as the previous model, which starts at $399.

iPhone 14 Price Hike

As we have reported, the price of the iPhone 14 also bumped up in the British nation to £849 from the previous pricing of the iPhone 13, which starts at less than 800 Pounds or at £779.

The Verge notes that the pricing for Ireland also got an increase, the entry-level iPhone 14 now costs €1,019, an increase of a few Euros from the previous €909 pricing of the iPhone 13.
