GALAX, a known manufacturer of computer gaming-related products, could be hinting at something that's so "serious."

According to the reports, the company is preparing to release its upcoming GeForce RTX 4090 Serious Gaming graphics card, which could potentially compete with Nvidia's high-end GPUs.

Expect a huge design tweak in the new lineup, which will have a quad-slot with a quad-fan cooling system.

GALAX's latest graphics card will allegedly sport a never-before-seen feature from previous GPUs: the quad-slot cooling solution.

The latest teaser that GALAX drops includes a picture of a man in a black hoodie. The short caption reads, "New Serious?"

According to Videocardz, the upcoming GPU won't sport "New Serious" as its branding. Instead, GALAX will launch it officially as a graphics card under the "Serious Gaming" lineup.

Many users might be confused if GALAX has released RTX 3090 Ti from the same series. For those who are wondering, the answer is no. The company has not yet unveiled a graphics card in the "SG" family.

GALAX Quad-Slot Cooling Solution

The early SG graphics cards featured three main fans on their cooling system. These will be seen in the upcoming RTX 4090 SG gaming GPU, and there will be an extra rear fan thanks to the 1-Clip technology.

Based on the leaked images, GALAX will utilize RGB treatment on the top, back, and side fans so it would appear with an aesthetic feel. Somehow, you can imagine what Tony Stark's Arc reactor looks like when placed on his chest.

Aside from the quad-fan cooling, the Serious Gaming graphics card will be much beefier than the previous models. It will allegedly sport a 16-pin power connector and a heat sink that can be found just beneath the shroud.

The packaging of the GALAX RTX 40 GPUs is not yet finalized at the moment. Maybe it would be close to the cover of the RTX 4090 SG. The concept appears to be a borrowed theme from the South Korean top-hit series "Squid Game."

How About the NVIDIA RTX 4090?

A story from Wccftech has shown that the GeForce RTX 4090 from Nvidia will be a full-packed GPU with 384 ROPs and 16,384 CUDA cores.

Assuming the chip maker will rely on the TSMC 4N process, its clock speed could hit 2 to 3 GHz. That's a very insane improvement that we have seen over the past years.

The GPU will reportedly boast 24 GB GDDR6X capacity on top of the 1TB/s of bandwidth that it can provide. Additionally, it will depend on the single 16-pin connector, which can produce 600W of power.

For gaming fans who have been waiting for it since last year, the expected release date of RTX 4090 could fall on Oct. 22. Before that, we will get to know more details about it when the Nvidia keynote kicks off in the next few weeks.
