Here's what you need to do to get Ash's Lucario in "Pokemon Sword and Shield."

Just in time for the upcoming launch of "Pokemon Scarlet and Violet," Nintendo is giving away an exclusive Pokemon for "Pokemon Sword and Shield" fans. The latest gift that you can receive is Ash's Lucario which is an important piece on his journey against the greatest champions from the different regions.

According to Newsweek, you can get this Pokemon through the "Mystery Gift" icon. Of course, you need a copy of the game first to obtain this gift.

Navigate your way through this part and search for "Get a Mystery Gift." Tap it and use a specific code to complete the process. Remember that it won't work offline, so make sure that your Nintendo Switch is connected to the internet.

You will be directed to the main screen, where you will be asked to enter a distribution code. All you need to do is to input HAD0 UW0C ATCH to complete the process.

Don't forget that the code has an expiration. It will only last for two weeks, so ensure to get it before Sept. 29.

Once you receive Lucario, it will be added to your current team. If your party is already full, it will instead be sent to the Pokemon Storage Box.

Ash's Lucario Movesets

Per Upcomer, Ash's Lucario will bear the same ability as Ash's Dragonite. It will have Inner Focus which means that you won't be flinched by your opponents - a perfect ability against "Fake Out" spammers.

This Lucario is not exactly the kind of Pokemon you want to train competitively for competitive players. Although it's at level 80, you might have second thoughts about its Serious Nature.

This specific nature won't increase or decrease any stats of your Pokemon. It's a neutral nature that everyone won't dare to have.

A "Serious" Lucario can still be good in casual fights against trainers. It can work as a two-way specialist that excels in both physical and special moves.

Speaking of a mixed attacker, Ash's Lucario on "Pokemon Sword and Shield" will have Aura Sphere and Steel Beam. These are high-risk moves that you need to use smartly.

If you're not a risk-taker type of player, you abuse Lucario's STABs, which include Reversal and Bullet Punch. If you want it to become more well-rounded in combat, you can use TM or TRs for wide coverage.

Previously, Nintendo gave away the mystery gift codes for Ash's Gengar, Dragonite, and Dracovish. At this point, you can no longer use it.

Don't worry about that since you can obtain Ash's Sirfecth'd by entering H1SSATSUNEG1.
