TAG Heuer Delivers a New Watch, Now with Nintendo’s ‘Mario Kart’ Design that Sells for $25,000

TAG Heuer and Nintendo are up to another collaboration with the latest commemorative watch from the famous Swiss luxury watchmaker, now centering on a new game from the "Mario" series. The new watch will take inspiration from Nintendo's hit racing game, "Mario Kart," with the wearable featuring the chronograph designs for two releases.

It centers on TAG's Formula 1 series, with one of the watches debuting a hefty price tag of $25,000 for the limited edition timepiece.

TAG Heuer officially announced a new collaboration with Nintendo, centering on the new designs for its Formula 1 watch series which delivers on "Mario Kart" designs for the world. The company has been teasing it for a couple of days now via their Twitter account, showing the Formula 1 series with "Mario Kart" logos and icons as seen in the game.

The company said that it integrated several icons into the luxury timepieces from its collection, featuring the Red Shell, Spiky Shell, and Starman available on its date display.

Mario is also seen riding his go-kart on both watches, with one featuring Mario, the Blue Shell, and Bullet Bill on one of the chronographs of the wearable.

TAG Heuer x Nintendo: Price and Availability

Get ready before heading to the starting line of its sale, as TAG Heuer and Nintendo will make the watches available by October 17.

There are two Formula 1 series of watches available, with one centering on the Chronograph that is priced at $4,300, a price fit for these kinds of luxury watches.

However, there is a more expensive one for the Tourbillon Chronograph which debuts a hefty price of $25,600.

The less expensive watch would be available by next week, but the pricier one will be available once notifications from TAG's emails message users of its availability.

Nintendo's Merch Collaborations

Fans and die-hard supporters get merchandise from their favorite franchises or pop culture representations from the companies themselves, but some collaborations are also a must-get for them. TAG and Nintendo previously worked on a watch before, and it commemorates Super Mario's 30th anniversary with the limited edition piece.

Back in 2020, Nintendo also announced a collaboration with PUMA for its Mario-inspired series of shoes that also joins the commemoration of the famous plumber that helped shape the gaming industry.

Nintendo went big for their beloved Super Mario franchise which gave the world many commemorative items to purchase to complete their fandom and admiration for the game.

Super Mario helped the gaming industry in so many ways, featuring its famed take on a platformer game, which now evolved into better offers.

TAG Heuer and Nintendo are back at it again for the second and third time around, with this latest upcoming release debuting two watches that centers on "Mario Kart." These two chronograph timepieces deliver luxury and pop culture expressions in one, centering on TAG's Formula 1 series, integrating the famed plumber's designs.
