Russian Su-34 Fighter Plane Crashes into Building

According to News.com, a Russian Sukhoi Su-34 fighter plane crashed into a residential building in Yeysk City which resulted in three casualties and left many more injured after the incident.

The pilot was able to survive the happening as it ejected moments before it crashed into the building, causing a massive fire in the area.

The Russian Defence Ministry said that this was only a training exercise from its Air Force unit, where the pilots were preparing as it happened but were able to survive the incident.

However, much cannot be said for the residents who were involved in the crash, especially those who were staying in their homes and were not part of the training.

Online posts show the massive fire from the building as it also spread to nearby areas, creating a massive scene with multiple injuries to the public.

An Accident on the Russian Air Force's Side?

Russian officials said that this was an accident as the Su-34's engine caught fire during the training regimen of the pilots and was unavoidable as it flew over the area. The plane was uncontrollable after its engine caught on fire, and the pilots needed to eject and live to fight another day.

However, not much can be said for its three casualties and 15 injured people who were brought to nearby health facilities.

Russia's Hand in the Conflict

Russia faced many sanctions in the early stages of the Ukraine invasion, which erupted earlier this year, and the country held its ground in enforcing this iron hand over its neighboring country.

As it saw sanctions and prevented many technological advancements, its military forces resorted to scavenging parts to create its tech.

The need for aircraft is massive, but Russia is no longer relying on international partners for it, as reports claim that the country will produce its aerial vehicles with 1,000 units by 2030.

Now that the world is backing Russia into a corner, it is retaliating with many attacks that show its might and power over the Ukrainians in this current conflict. Despite the much help from other countries, the world may be facing Russian threats of a nuclear war, as US President Joe Biden said that a "nuclear armageddon" might be underway.

This recent accident in Yeysk city was not intended by Russian troops to happen as its aircraft was faulty and caused an unexpected occurrence on its part.

Nevertheless, it caused casualties and injuries to its people, but it was not necessarily an attack planned by the country, as its fighter jet's engine got harmed and was unpredictable, leading to the crash.
