Apple's New iPad Pro, which sports the powerful M2 chip, is reportedly debuting on October 18, the Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman discloses in his recent tweet.

It is worth noting that Gurman previously teased that Apple is looking to announce its new iPad Pro lineup "in a matter of days." And this time, it looks like the day has finally come.

Apple's New iPad Pro with M2 Chip

As per a recent report by CNBC, the Cupertino-based tech giant, Apple, is looking to unveil its all-new iPad Pro models, including an 11-inch variant and a bigger 12.9-inch option this month.

It is worth noting that the launch of the new high-end tablet comes shortly after the renowned tech firm started shipping the iPhone 14 lineup, the Apple Watch Series 8, and the second-generation AirPods Pro.

The October launch is supposed to give the customers of the iPhone maker more options in time for the holidays.

The Bloomberg journalist predicted last October 15 in his Power On newsletter that the new set of iPad Pro models is seeing the shimmer of the spotlight in the next few days.

NOVATO, CALIFORNIA - JULY 13: A iPad is displayed at a Costco store on July 13, 2021 in Novato, California. According the U.S. Labor Department, the U.S. consumer price index increased 0.9% in June and 5.4% from the same month one year ago, the highest 12-month rate increase since 2008.

According to a news story by Mac Rumors, Gurman confirmed in his recent tweet that the iPad Pro with an M2 chip is launching this Tuesday.

The journalist says that "in case it wasn't obvious with "day away" wording" that he used in his recent Power On newsletter, the M2 iPad Pro "launch should be tomorrow" or on Oct. 18, to be more exact.

Mac Rumors notes in the same story that the launch of the new iPad Pro is unlikely to have a massive unveiling event like the recent fall announcement of the iPhone 14 series. Instead, the news outlet suggests that Apple might announce it via a Newsroom press release.
