However, this detail was not confirmed by the Biden Administration and the Taiwanese government.

Three anonymous individuals shared speculations about this military partnership between the United States and Taiwan.

These people are believed to be familiar with the two countries' defense activities.

A source, who has direct knowledge of the Biden Administration's internet deliberation, claimed that discussions regarding the rumored U.S.-Taiwan partnership are already happening.

This is because U.S. defense companies will likely provide the needed technologies to manufacture defense weapons in Taiwan.

They could also produce these weapons in the United States, but the parts will come from Taiwan.

"This is going to take some time to really shake out," said one of the three sources.

The anonymous individual added that the ongoing discussions about the U.S.-Taiwan military partnership could continue until 2023.

On the other hand, a U.S.-Taiwan Business Council representative explained that NCSIST (National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology), a Taiwanese state-owned corporation, used some U.S. technologies to manufacture Taiwanese missiles.

These include the Hsiung Feng II and III models. However, the official clarified that the Asian country hadn't produced American weapons.

Will the Joint Military Collab Happen?

Recent U.S. administrations explained that the United States is cautious when it comes to joint weapon production.

Officials stated that it is difficult to work with other countries to manufacture American weapons because classified information could be put at risk.

But with the conflict between China and Taiwan, there's a chance that the U.S.-Taiwan partnership is being discussed as an answer to China's increasing military pressure.

Recently, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that China is trying to speed up its unification with Beijing.

Reuters also reported that Chinese leader Xi Jinping would not renounce the right to use force just to get Taiwan back.

However, the Chinese president clarified that they would still try to solve it peacefully.
