Apple is now debuting the latest iOS 16.1.1 which centers on a fix for the latest operating system version of the iPhone and iPad devices from the Cupertino giant. It centers on several bug fixes and changes to its security that focus on improvements for the company's OS version, but not a significant update like the last iOS 16.1 update.

The other update it delivers now is with Apple's operations in China which restricts the AirDrop "Everyone" setting, which will not exceed 10 minutes for its availability.

Apple China Restricts AirDrop 'Everyone' to 10 Mins.

According to 9to5 Mac, another iOS 16.1.1 update dropped with the latest release, but this change centers on China, particularly for its AirDrop usage. The "Everyone" feature of the over-the-air file-sharing system gets a restriction to 10 minutes of operation only, and it will no longer exceed this duration in Mainland China.

It means that despite leaving the AirDrop "Everyone" option on, it will automatically turn off in this latest update.

Apple and its iOS Updates for All

Apple first released the iOS 16 in September, and it allowed the world to experience the new things for the iPhone from the company's development and tweaks to the operating system. It delivers almost the same experience as the iOS 15, as it did not change much on its offers and look with the latest OS, but added several features.

Of course, the iOS 16 centers on the iPhone 14 Pro's latest addition of the Dynamic Island, but not something which moves away from the iOS 15 that much.

Several features arrived with the iOS 16 that center on massive changes from the previous version including the Automatic Verification for CAPTCHA, the new Lock Screen tweaks, iCloud, and more. The company revealed all of these via the WWDC 22 but only arrived more than two months later, on its September drop.

IOS users are now seeing iOS 16's integrations to the iPhones, with future releases coming to deliver better features for the iPhone. With iOS 16.2 coming by December, several bug fixes and improvements arrive for the latest iOS drops from the company, centering on giving the public a streamlined experience.
