"Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0" was made available recently, and gamers are now experiencing the latest battle royale game from Activision Blizzard, but there are already negative comments regarding the new title. It is specifically pointing to its new game mode, the DMZ, where Dr Disrespect said that it does not live up to the hype, claiming that it is already "dead."

Dr Disrespect went to Twitter to bring his initial reviews on the new "Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0," and the Doc's got pretty strong words against the game's new game mode, the DMZ. The famous game streamer said that this new game mode is "gimmicky," also saying that it is "already dead" in terms of gamers accessing this new experience.

It is also regarded by Dr Disrespect that the game will have "no chance after week 1," putting a timeline to the said mode that will die out in a week since today's release.

Furthermore, the Doc said that its demise will result in its offers, including that skill-based matchmaking, lack of footsteps in the mode, AI opponents, and also having no ranked playlist.

'Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0's New Game Mode

According to ComicBook Gaming, the new DMZ mode was based on an extraction-based experience called Escape from Tarkov.

The DMZ mode is also different from the main battle royale game, making it one of the highlights of this release from Activision Blizzard.

"Call of Duty" is one of the most famous gaming franchises in the world, centering on an action shooter experience with the first-person POV setup and its renowned graphics. The company's first battle royale and the online game is finally seeing an end to its two-year run, with the game ceasing to exist as the new title replaces it.

The game developers for "Warzone 2.0" aims to deliver a better experience than the past game, one that would differentiate it from the previous release.

Its devs also created a new map for "Warzone 2.0," and this one is called "Al Marzah," which is similar to a known location in the previous "Modern Warfare II's" Quarry map.

Activision Blizzard aims to center this release for the next-generation consoles, aiming to deliver a new battle royale experience for it, with better integration for the game.

The company recently made "Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0" available for all to download, and in the initial hours, since it dropped, it already saw a massive critique from a famous content creator on YouTube. Surely, Dr Disrespect's opinion is important and will have a massive impact in this game mode, but more reviews are yet to come for the game's entirety.
