SAN FRANCISCO, CA - MARCH 30: Microsoft employee Gillian Pennington demonstrates the Microsoft HoloLens augmented reality (AR) viewer during the 2016 Microsoft Build Developer Conference on March 30, 2016 in San Francisco, California. The Microsoft Build Developer Conference runs through April 1.

When the previous Holographic 22H1 became available to HoloLens 2 headsets back in April, the update mainly highlighted the arrival of new settings and colorblind mode.

At that time, the users expected to see more updates, yet, they have not seen any potential improvements that might be added soon to the VR wearable.

Primarily, Microsoft introduced the Power and Thermal SDK for apps, as well as the single app kiosk policy during the app launch. Right now, the newest version has a different take on the users.

According to XDA Developers, the HoloLens headset can add new users as part of the update. It's now faster to enter the new policies, especially if you are a part of the IT admins. You won't see extra screens anymore during the setup, so you can save a lot of time doing other things.

Apart from that, Windows Holographic Version 22H2 now approves the deactivation of NCSI passive polling. In short, the headset will not be open to any available Wi-Fi access once it's already connected to the intranet of the company.

You won't have any problems with your lost connection anymore. The update also tackles the captive portal's support for the device once you enable it. If you plan to link a device in a new area, this feature will help you with your concern.

Storage Sense For HoloLens 2

One of the highly-requested features finally arrived in the additional storage support. Before, users could get problematic when they ran out of storage for their data.

With the rollout of the 22H2, HoloLens 2 users won't have to worry about their storage spaces thanks to Storage Sense.

The IT department needs to keep important files in the safest storage possible. However, the old files need to go, or else they will eat up an unnecessary amount of space in your device.

Microsoft also adds new security baselines for the IT admins. Configuring the NTP client is now made possible. Connecting to various time servers won't be a headache at last.

The Redmond giant might be planning to revamp some features for the business soon. For now, the IT-focused update is here to stay, so try it out before the new update rolls out in the future.

Outside the tech industry, the Microsoft HoloLens headsets can also be used to remotely connect patients to medical experts in Australia, according to ABC News' previous report.

Per Christopher Sia, the chief medical officer of Telecare, the technology has allowed them to communicate well with the patients for a better quality healthcare service.
