Naughty Dog is fairly quiet regarding its upcoming projects, but leaks recently revealed that the company is already working on the third game of the top-grossing series, "The Last of Us." The latest information points out the possibility of having a future release of "The Last of Us Part III," something which fans and gamers await from its developers.
Allegedly, this game is already in production from Naughty Dog, alongside the multiplayer game spin-off from "The Last of Us," called "Factions."

A reputable online leaker called ViewerAnon dropped a dime regarding Naughty Dog's plans to continue the critically-acclaimed franchise to deliver a third game in the future. According to the leaker, Neil Druckmann, co-President and founder of Naughty Dog, is already working on the next installation of the game, titled "The Last of Us Part III."
The leaker claimed that this game will continue the story in the post-apocalyptic world, with the game already in production over at Naughty Dog.
ViewerAnon is one of the most reputable leakers for the "TLOU" series as he is one of the earliest that speculated on a live-action adaptation of the game with HBO taking the lead.

'Factions' a.k.a. 'TLOU' Spin-off Also Under Development
Apart from "The Last of Us Part III," ViewerAnon also spilled the beans on two other games in Naughty Dog's studio, and the first one is the game called "Factions." This title centers on a multiplayer spinoff from "The Last of Us" series that will arrive earlier than the third game, under development by the company.
Also, the leaker claimed that despite Naughty Dog's new IP, it would give the lead to other studios to headline "Uncharted's" upcoming reboot game.
'The Last of Us' Franchise and its Legacy
Naughty Dog brought the world "The Last of Us" back in 2013, first released for the PlayStation 3, which became a massive hit among gamers. Now, the game already saw the release of its sequel, "The Last of Us Part II," with rumors and speculations claiming that this will not be the last game in the famed franchise.
Leaks are also centering on the possibility of having a PlayStation 5 remake of the original game, one that will deliver a new gaming experience for all.
There are many insiders still speculating on the game despite its developers not giving any hints about a third game coming to the gaming world soon.
The game's fame is a significant one resulting in an HBO adaptation of the same title and story to a live-action series starring Pedro Pascal as Joel, and Bella Ramsey as Ellie.
