PlayStation Plus is now adding some classical PS1, PS3, and PSP gaming titles to its library, giving its subscribers a trip down memory lane this holiday season.

Four new games are joining the classical offerings of Sony's PlayStation Plus, including iconic titles like Ridge Racer 2 from the PSP.

PlayStation Plus Gains Classical PS1, PS3, and PSP Games This Holiday Season

As per the latest news story by Comicbook.com, Sony recently announced that the PlayStation Plus Premium tier is gaining tons of new classical gaming titles. The new offerings should allow its subscribers to get their hands on games that first appeared on previous generation consoles, including the PS1 and PSP, among other iconic releases.

The Japanese gaming giant also revealed the modern console games arriving in its subscription service this holiday season.

But now, PlayStation Plus subscribers are getting their hands on four classical gaming titles. These offerings are from the nostalgic PS1 and PS3, as well as the handheld PSP.

Comicbook.com reports that these classics are now joining the library of PlayStation Plus. One of the games is none other than, "Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus," which first saw the light of day on the PS1. Two PSP classics, "Pinball Heroes" and "Ridge Racer 2" also made it to the subscription service. And lastly, the PS3 hack-and-slash title, Heavenly Sword, is also joining the fun this holiday season.

New PlayStation Plus Games: Far Cry 5, and More

The Director for Content Acquisitions & Operations of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Adam Michel announced the new game catalog off PlayStation Plus for Premium and Extra tiers.

Michel revealed those titles in a PlayStation Blog post, saying that "we're happy to reveal the December Game Catalog lineup for PlayStation Plus."

The new gaming titles joining the service include PS4 and PS5 offerings, such as "Far Cry 5," "Mortal Shell," and "WWE 2K22."

Other titles on their way to PlayStation Plus are "Judgement," "Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor," and "Evil Genius 2."

"Adventure Time Pirates of the Enchiridion," "Ben 10: Power Trip," "Gigantosaurus The Game," and "Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire" are also joining the catalog. Other offerings are "Yakuza: Like a Dragon" and "Yakuza 6: The Song of Life." "Far Cry Primal" from PS4 is also coming this month.

The game catalog of the PlayStation Plus is surely packed in time for the holidays. There are new exciting modern titles to look forward to. A splash of nostalgia is also around the corner with tons of classics from PSP, PS1, and PS3.
