For the love of "Star Wars," some people dream of creating spacecraft and rovers straight from their imaginations. Some think that defying time and space is possible although the limitations are incessantly existing.

As an avid "Star Wars" fan, Takeshi Hakamada has envisioned establishing a startup intended for planetary and lunar exploration. To him, the possibilities are limitless if you believe that you can do all of these things at one point in your life.

Now, he has achieved his goal of becoming a founder of a company focused on making space robotics. His next target is to further improve the manufacturing of low-cost yet efficient micro-robotics technology in Japan.

At a very young age, Takeshi has already a penchant for going to the vast universe which is very different from life on Earth.

As a "Star Wars" fan, he drew inspiration to create a d startup that will be aligned with his desires and dream. Out of curiosity, he wondered how the Ansari XPRIZE works for everyone.

After finishing Aerospace Engineering at Nagoya University in Japan, he pursued an M.S. degree under the same program at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

At this time, he grew curious about the $10 million prize for Ansari XPRIZE. However, he discovered that it won't be easy since there's a need to fund a project to get it going.

To visualize what he wanted to happen, he entered a management consulting company, according to Global Shakers. In this way, he learned how to hone his management skills to keep up with other contenders.

Since then, he has participated in numerous space-centered projects. In 2010, he was assigned as the leader of Team HAKUTO which was established to compete in the XPRIZE contest. His team managed to take home a $500,000 prize during the period.

Four years later after the competition, he continued to join more meetings related to the space industry. He even partook in an important discussion with the Minister of State of Japan regarding the matter.

His first meeting with Mamoru Mohri, the first astronaut in Japan also ignited his interest to pursue aeronautics when he was a teen.
