Apple Store App Purchase Won't Be Counted

According to another report by Macrumors, customers who will place their iPhone orders via Apple App Store app should note that their entry won't count for the New Year-themed AirTag.

This means that the only way to get this limited-edition AirTag is by purchasing a select Apple product on the official website of the company.

Additionally, the tech titan says that the New Year promo will be open to the Japanese retail stores, as well.

The Japanese New Year promotions are not new anymore to Apple. According to Apple Insider, the iPad maker also conducted the same promotion which is centered in the limited-edition AirTag.

During the same year, Apple also rolled out Beast Studio Buds as part of the Year of the Tiger celebration. The company also gave away Apple Store Gift Cards worth up to ¥24,000 to the customers who participated in the event.

Saving a Little Bit of iPhone Battery

If you have more time to explore your iPhone 14, you might want to boost its battery through this hack. According to Tech Times, you can prolong the battery life of your smartphone by switching off the background app refresh.

It should be noted that this is quite a "secret" feature that you can search over the Settings of your iPhone and even the Android handsets.

Once you restrict the background app refresh on your device, unused apps won't drain your battery anymore. This will save you a lot of power when your smartphone is not in use.

To turn it off, just disable the feature in Cellular Data or Wi-Fi. For a more detailed process, you can head to the Settings of your iPhone and click the "General" section.

From here, just click "Background App Refresh" twice, then turn off your mobile data or Wi-Fi.
