Sony's CES 2023 Keynote speech delivered many updates to the company's upcoming new products, and the PlayStation got a massive focus from the company for its future releases. One is the featured accessibility controller for the PS5 console, "Project Leonardo," made by Sony.

On the other hand, it also announced a new PS VR 2 free upgrade, from a beloved PlayStation title that will deliver an all-new virtual experience to gamers.

Apart from Sony's many announcements from its wide range of products, the PlayStation is still a key player for the company, with exciting new additions to the gaming experience.

The Sony showcase at CES 2023 officially unveiled a first-party accessibility controller for the PlayStation 5, and it does not have an official name yet, but the company calls it "Project Leonardo."

According to the PlayStation blog post, it will feature a 360-degree design with highly customizable and interchangeable buttons that will fit any experience on the console.

The controller's analog stick can be adjusted as well, focusing on the applicable distance from the gamepad that will fit a gamer's preference. Sony also claimed that this accessibility controller will also allow gamers to create and save up to three controller profiles for different gamers.

It can also connect to DualSense controllers or be used as a standalone device. Third-party accessories are also available to connect on Project Leonardo, also with 3.5mm AUX ports for audio.

Sony and its PlayStation

PlayStation is still one of the largest subsidiaries of the famed global entertainment company from Japan, Sony, and before CES 2023, the console received many new features for its future operations. One of the latest additions to the gaming experience from Sony is the DualSense Edge controller which features many customizable features for the device.

It is coming this January for pre-orders, and soon for regular purchases via the PlayStation Store.

Another new addition to the PS5 coming later this year is the latest PS VR 2, the highly-anticipated virtual experience for the console with immersive games alongside it.

CES 2023 gave a platform for all the significant and major releases from different companies, and it includes Sony, for its many offers this year. The PlayStation is getting massive releases later on, but not exactly a successor to the PS5, as rumors initially claimed.

Soon, the world will get their hands on the PS VR 2, the new "Gran Turismo 7 VR," and Project Leonardo for their PS5 experience.
