Nintendo and Minecraft fans have the best of both worlds with this fan-made creation.

Minecraft continues to amass a large following of imaginative gamers and artists. It appears that there are still some new in-game concepts to explore, and sometimes it seems impossible to put them into action.

However, despite its release dating way back to 2009, the gaming community is not likely to slow down anytime soon with their passion projects. Occasionally, gamers like devoting themselves to expressing their admiration for some of the genre's famous releases that have come and gone.

This is especially evident in a recent project shared by a Reddit user who combined their love for Nintendo and Minecraft into one model.

Minecraft-inspired Nintendo Gamecube

According to GameRant, an in-game model of the Nintendo GameCube has been faithfully recreated by Reddit user jaflm24 in Minecraft. It stands out against the game's background thanks to its distinctive purple design and back handle.

Numerous images of the replica from various perspectives make it very apparent that a lot of work went into building such a large construction. Even the ATI logo, which stands for the graphics processor that assisted in powering the vintage console, is present in the lower corner.

According to the original post from Reddit, several commenters stated that it would be remarkable if it were fully functional. However, the fact that Reddit user jaflm24 constructed the project alone makes it an excellent feat.

Why the Nintendo Gamecube Is a Classic Platform

Developed and launched in Japan in 2001, the Nintendo GameCube is a home video game console. During that time, it was a sixth-generation system that went up against the Xbox and PlayStation 2. While the Gamecube did not feature anything too groundbreaking in its design, it was able to make small jumps in the innovation of gaming consoles.

The GameCube is one of Nintendo's most underappreciated platforms, and many people still deem it a classic gaming console. According to SCF, many years after the Sega CD and the original PlayStation adopted the technology, the Japanese developer ultimately made the transition to disc-based hardware after the N64's commercial success.

Over its lifetime, the GameCube served as a platform for a number of hit games, including Beyond Good and EvilMario Kart: Double DashThe Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and more.
