Apple: Here’s the macOS Hack to Fix Two-Finger Zoom Issues on Your Computer

If you are experiencing a problem with the two-finger zoom features, a.k.a. the Pinch, you are not alone. There is a pestering bug that affects Apple's macOS, primarily for those using the TrackPad or other touch-based third-party devices that allows people to use the pointer for more than one feature, unlike a mouse.

Good thing is that there is an easy fix whenever encountering this bug since Apple has not yet addressed this for all affected parties.

There are also other ways of doing so, apart from this easy fix, one where they do not need to install other apps to make it work again.

Several people have reported this incident via the Apple support website and different forums.

Dan Liu announced on Twitter that there is now an easy fix that users may download to fix the two-finger zoom and pinch gesture, should they have experienced a bug on the macOS. Liu also developed this for the world to use, especially as it may randomly stop working and meddle with one's usage of their MacBook.

The application is now available on a GitHub page from Liu, with the entire file and codes available on said link.

Users need only to install this on their computer and it will also provide an icon on the Taskbar to easily fix the pinch gesture whenever it fails to work properly.

Alternatively, Go to the Mac's Terminal

Alternatively, there is another fix for this should people not want to install a new application on their Mac computers. This is through the Mac Terminal, and with the command called "killall Dock." This hack is also easy enough for people to do, and they only need to launch the Terminal and input the code without quotation marks.
